摘要
This article aims to investigate the impact of feminist movements in the context of organizations, focusing on women's working hours and the balance between work and family. Feminist movements have fought for significant changes, demanding policies and practices that promote this balance, such as reduced working hours, flexible working hours, equal parental leave and maternity support. In addition to the demands of feminist movements, organizations also have an important role in promoting balance between work and family. This includes implementing policies and practices that support gender equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as creating an organizational culture that values this balance. Interviews were carried out with married and single women, with and without children, who are currently in the job market, in the city of Belo Horizonte- MG and adjacent region. This research can contribute to the ongoing dialogue on gender equality, support social progress, and provide insights and practical recommendations for organizations and policymakers interested in creating more fair and balanced workplaces.
