At the same time, advances in diagnostic methods and the role of surgery were identified. The objective this manuscript was to present the existing and updateevidence between the years 2011 to 2023, regarding the identified topics, which is important in a scenario of elderly patients, with increasinglyKwon, numerous comorbidities, and potentially carriers of PG.
