摘要
This study introduces a novel photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensor utilizing the electrochemical in-situ transformation of bismuth-based materials, specifically designed for the sensitive and selective detection of hydrogen sulfide (H2S). The sensor operates through the electrochemical deposition of nanostructured bismuth, which, in the presence of H2S, is transformed into Bi2S3, significantly enhancing its photoelectrochemical response. This transformation results in a PEC sensor that not only demonstrates high sensitivity and selectivity towards H2S detection but also exhibits strong photoelectrochemical activity under visible light. Installed on carbon fiber microelectrodes, the sensor facilitates real-time monitoring of H2S fluctuations within the brain, making it a potent tool for neuroscience research. The ability to detect H2S in complex biological settings underscores the sensor's potential for widespread applications in medical diagnostics and environmental monitoring, paving the way for advancements in PEC sensor technology.
