摘要
The importance of the F & aring;r & ouml; archipelago (Sweden) in Ingmar Bergman's cinema, as a depressing and paradoxically calm space of knowledge. Arnold B & ouml;cklin's island paintings, and according to Georg Simmel's aesthetics, express an intense isolation, loneliness and timelessness that are just as similar to the island forms of Bergman's more confessional films; such as: S & aring;som i en spegel (As in a mirror, 1961) and Vargtimmen (The hour of the wolf, 1967). Thus, these feature films will be studied, like others, that are imbued with these tragic motives and premises that affect the fate of the subject. In turn, analogous to the expressionist literature of August Strindberg.
