The relationship between arterial hypertension and dental procedures: impact on treatment and prevention of complications

This article discusses the relationship between arterial hypertension (AH) and dental procedures, as well as well as the impact of this disease on treatment and prevention of complications. Arterial hypertension, being one of the most common chronic pathologies of the cardiovascular system, can have a significant impact on the process of dental treatment. The paper analyses the risk factors associated with the increase of blood pressure in patients during dental interventions, the features of pharmacotherapy, as well as well as the role of dentists in the early detection of hypertension.
