摘要
Evaluation is more than an administrative function; it is a pivotal component of the professional training process. This study arises from the need to define criteria and guidelines that facilitate a comprehensive assessment of students in the Direcci & oacute;n de Escuela Policial (DIEPO). Grounded in the theoretical, epistemological, axiological, and pedagogical principles of DIEPO's Institutional Educational Project (PEI), which serves as a regulatory framework for holistic and police education, this research aims to enhance the quality and effectiveness of evaluation processes. The primary goal of this study is to propose a conceptual model for the design, application, analysis, and assessment of learning outcomes in the official DIEPO programs implemented across its nationwide network of schools. To achieve this, the research reviewed the institutional PEI, the formative evaluation processes, the competency-based educational approach used in pilot programs selected for the project "Strategy for Achieving Better Skills and Learning Outcomes in Police Training Serving the Territories," and the outcomes derived from this initiative. The proposed model serves as a critical tool for ensuring that future technicians, technologists, and professionals are adequately prepared to face the dynamic and complex challenges of their profes- sion. It promotes educational excellence while contributing to the continuous development of a highly skilled and committed student community aligned with the principles of DIEPO's institutional mission.
