摘要:
This review provides an in-depth analysis of MXene materials and their wide-ranging electrochemical applications. MXenes, a distinguished class of 2D materials with unique properties, are highly suited for various electrochemical uses. Their remarkable performance in corrosion-resistant coatings offers robust protection in harsh environments. With excellent electrical conductivity and tunability, MXenes serve as efficient electrocatalysts in key reactions such as Oxygen evolution reaction (OER), Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), and Nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR). Their large surface area (SA) and conductivity also make them ideal for developing sensitive biosensors and advanced environmental monitoring systems. Moreover, MXenes show promise as actuators, capable of changing volume in response to external stimuli. This review examines the latest developments, challenges, and future potential of MXene-based electrochemical applications, underscoring their importance in creating sustainable, innovative, and environmentally friendly devices.
