Teaching of a strategic planning course has information components in English language, related to English for general purpose and English for specific purpose linked to the business field. In this context, teaching materials, business websites, academic journals, databases and evaluations require knowledge of business English. The objective of the research is to know the perception of a sample of university students about the use of business English in learning a strategic planning course at the undergraduate level in Peru. The sample was selected by convenience, considering former students of the course from five consecutive academic semesters. As a measurement tool, an instrument based in Bloom's revised taxonomy was designed, which was validated and the reliability of the instrument was measured. The results show that students positively perceived the use of business English in their learning.
