摘要
W-band, from 92 GHz to 115 GH, is perceived as a millimeter-wave spectrum that will be used to support some 6G wireless applications. This paper proposes a new type of rectangular waveguide and micro-coaxial transition structure, which works in the W-band and solves the challenging problem of the transition from rectangular waveguide to micro-coaxial. It can realize the direct interchange of micro-coaxial and rectangular waveguide, and at the same time can simplify the structure. The structure includes a micro-coaxial transmission line, a rectangular waveguide cavity, a metal plate, and a small metal patch. Through electromagnetic simulation using software HFSS, the return loss of this transition structure is less than 13dB and the insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB in the whole frequency range of 92-115GHz, which meets the design requirements.
