摘要
This study addresses the ongoing debate surrounding the integration of traditional and advanced (sustainable) production methods in organizations worldwide. While adopting environmentally friendly practices is increasingly essential for achieving sustainable performance, the conceptual and empirical understanding of green variables remains limited. This study aims to explore how small and medium manufacturing businesses in Pakistan and China can leverage knowledge acquisition and sharing, environmental awareness, and advocacy to enhance corporate sustainability. Data was collected from managers of manufacturing SMEs in China and Pakistan and analysed using SmartPLS 4.0. Using a quantitative approach with structured surveys, the research finds that knowledge management, environmental consciousness, and advocacy significantly contribute to corporate sustainable performance. However, the study reveals that the moderating role of stakeholder involvement on the relationship between environmental advocacy and economic sustainability was not supported. These findings provide valuable insights for academics, industry professionals, and companies in the manufacturing sector.
