摘要
Case formulation in psychotherapy is considered a core competency for clinical practice. However, its teaching may be limited by the availability of cases in the trainee's language, the variety of clinical presentations in the literature, and the availability of trainers in this area. This article addresses how these problems can be partially overcome by using Generative Artificial Intelligence for case analysis training. In particular, it explores the potential of these tools to create clinical cases in various formats, identify relevant elements of a clinical case, make diagnoses and hypotheses, develop treatment plans, and assess the knowledge associated with this competence. To this end, concrete examples of the use of this technology are shown through the ChatGPT platform. The article discusses the ethical precautions that should be considered when using Generative Artificial Intelligence.
