ON SHORT AUTOFICTION IN LATIN AMERICA

The content of this article can be read as a continuation of "Autofiction in Latin America: Theory and Analytical Perspectives", published in this same dossier of Lejana. Revista Cr & iacute;tica de Narrativa Breve. We will continue with the topic of autofictional writing, considering the brief modality, which has its own characteristics. After drawing attention to the feature of extension, we will review works carried out by Latin American scholars and add our own analytical perspectives. All of this with the purpose of offering an outline of the studies on short autofiction in Spanishspeaking countries on the American continent, pointing out some problems and inviting our readers to continue exploring autofiction in short works.
