摘要
This project examines the potentials of ChatGPT to support and enhance the learning experience for students in technical writing courses. Amidst discussions on the implications of LLMs in writing instruction, this study explores how ChatGPT can be used as a resource for teaching and learning technical writing, a genre that demands precision, clarity, and a specific skill set. This project investigates the effects of deliberately inserting ChatGPT into a classroom as both a model of writing and a venue for critiquing writing. By exploring ChatGPT as both a tool and a subject of study, this project aims to enhance student literacies in AI technologies and their applications in professional writing.
