摘要
The Carboniferous reservoir in Tazhong 4 Oilfield in Tarim Basin, as a typical unsteady reservoir, which is important for studying the mechanism of reservoir formation. The formation process of Carboniferous unsteady reservoir in Tazhong 4 Oilfield is studied by the physical simulation experiment, which simulates the formation of ancient reservoirs in CI, CII and CIII oil groups, and obtains the oil and gas accumulation mechanism of gas invasion in the later period of CIII oil group. The results show that the adjustment speed of oil-water interface between gravelly sandstone section and homogeneous sandstone section is quite different. The interface between upper and lower layers of interlayer is an important channel for the formation of gas caps between gravelly sandstone section and homogeneous sandstone section. Faults 2 and 3 cut upward to C5 interval, which is an important channel leading to the formation of gas cap in CII oil group and CIII oil group. Pores and micro-cracks in gravelly sandstone and homogeneous sandstone are also important channels for the formation of gas cap in CIII oil group. The research results provide data support for the formation process of Carboniferous unsteady reservoir in Tazhong 4 Oilfield of Tarim Basin. This paper provides experience of studying the physical characteristics of unstable Carboniferous reservoirs.
