摘要：
Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) Programs support Specialists in Diagnosing undiagnosed Cardiomyopathies? This is the Conclusion reached by Oikonomou et al. in their Study developing an AI Model based on over 290,000 transthoracic echocardiographic Videos at the Bedside. The Model was validated by using retrospective Cohorts and identified many overlooked Heart Diseases. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathies and Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathies were particularly diagnosed, which, if undetected and untreated, are associated with increased Risks of Morbidity and Mortality
