摘要
This paper adopts new recent techniques for examining fixed point results in G-metric space to introduce a novel idea termed as hybrid-interpolative Reich-Istratatescu-type (G-alpha-F)-contraction. Wherefore, some new invariant point notions that cannot be derived from their cognate ones in both metric and quasi metric spaces are analyzed. To support the results acquired, an illustrative, comparable example is provided. From the viewpoint of application, the existence and distinctiveness of a solution to a mixed integral equation of Volterra-Fredholm type is examined. A numerical example is also given to show the utility of the obtained results in discussing solvability criteria of the examined fixed point problem.
