Investigation on adjustment effect of V2O5 on the microstructure, magnetic and dielectric properties of M-type barium ferrites

摘要
Novel high saturation magnetization and permittivity Ba(CoTi)(1.2)Fe9.6O19 ferrites ceramics for high frequency were synthesized. To improve properties of M-type barium (BaM) ferrites through doping V2O5 additive. It has been proved that V2O5 can be used to control and adjust the microstructure of ferrites at 1000 degrees C. The results demonstrate that the properties of the samples are closely related to their microstructure and densification. Finally, by adding the optimal of 3 wt.% V2O5, a compact and density M-type barium (BaM) ferrites ceramic with uniform grains synthesized. Notably, the saturation magnetization increased from 2488.90 to 3246.64 Gauss. The permittivity value increased to 21.07 at 1 GHz. Also, V2O5 makes BaM ferrite ceramics promising to be a good candidate for the preparation of ferrite circulators. Meanwhile, this study provides a reference for controlling and adjusting the properties of sintering M-type barium ferrites ceramics.
