摘要
The present article is an attempt at the theoretical examination of the therapeutic potential of gratitude journaling in enhancing student mental health and well-being. Grounded in the principles of expressive writing and positive psychology interventions, gratitude journaling offers a structured platform for individuals to acknowledge and appreciate the positive aspects of their lives. Amidst rising rates of mental health issues among students, gratitude journaling emerges as a promising intervention for promoting psychological resilience and mitigating the impact of academic stressors. Through a comprehensive review of the literature, this article examines the theoretical underpinnings of gratitude journaling, its benefits, and recent developments in its practice. By integrating gratitude journaling techniques into educational settings, schools and universities can empower students to cultivate a positive mindset, build resilience, and enhance their overall psychological well-being. This paper underscores the importance of preventive measures in managing student mental health challenges and offers insights into the potential implications of gratitude journaling for fostering long-term mental wellness.
