This round table brought together a group of experts to take stock of the current situation, and to consider ways of facilitating the prescription of these tests and the dissemination of results on a national scale. The experts looked at ways of prescribing and communicating pharmacogenetic data in the current context, but also in the coming years with the arrival of artificial intelligence software. Questions relating to the reimbursement of tests were also discussed, as this is a key factor in ensuring that all patients have access to these tests. Numerous recommendations were made on these various points, aimed at making it easier for healthcare professionals to control prescribing, while guaranteeing that results can be stored and used throughout the patient's life. Finally, it was recommended that patients should be better informed, and that healthcare professionals and manufacturers should be more closely involved in the process, emphasizing the training and commitment required to ensure its success.
