摘要：

Bacteria of the genus Nocardia are part of the Actinomycetes group, which are commonly found in the environment. Unlike invasive pulmonary infections and disseminated nocardiosis, cutaneous nocardiosis can also occur in immunocompetent individuals. Cutaneous and subcutaneous infections caused by Nocardias usually develop as a result of traumatic inoculation. This article presents a case of Nocardia farcinica infection in a 43-year-old patient who developed compartment syndrome as a result of trauma.
