摘要
Automated infrastructure monitoring systems play a vital role in ensuring transportation safety and have been studied extensively in the literature. Following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta- analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, this paper conducts literature review to investigate the stereoscopic monitoring of transportation infrastructure. Based on the specific inclusion criteria, a total of 137 publications are systematically reviewed. Different from most of existing work that focus on either specific infrastructure or monitoring technique, this survey provides a stereoscopic monitoring perspective for the first time, and simultaneously reviews the fundamentals and applications of representative satellite, aerial, ground, and body-based monitoring techniques for roads, bridges and tunnels. Beyond that, the future research trends are discussed in the conclusion.
