摘要
Research investigating relations between social media use (SMU) and adolescent wellbeing is mixed. We distinguish between types of SMU and examine their unique physiological and subjective emotional effects in the lab, as well as associations between each SMU type with emotion and emotion regulation in everyday life using experience sampling. Findings will inform recommendations for healthy SMU.
