Research Trends in Contemporary Russian Buddhist Studies: Experience of Bibliographic and Bibliometric Analysis

The article deals with the current state of the study of traditional Buddhist regions of comprehensive historical-religious, bibliometric and epistemological analysis, 17 thematic directions in the consideration of the regional specificity of Buddhism in Russia, developed in the works of contemporary Russian Buddhologists in the first decades of the 21th century, are identified. The explicated themes of the analyzed array of publications are compared with the "matrix" of cultural turns in the humanities.
