Implementation of Time Zone in China to Save Energy

摘要
Of various energy-saving technologies and low-carbon techniques, the time zone is a natural energy-saving technology. Many countries apply the time zone in their daily life. China, as one of largest countries in the world, occupies from 73 E to 135 E across more than four time zones. However, China has not yet adopted the time zone. In this study, we simulate the daylight at morning and evening in Beijing time for winter, spring, summer and autumn in order to determine whether China can adopt the time zone to save energy. The results demonstrate different daylight across China, suggesting that it would be the best to implement four time zones in China to save the energy, to improve the people's health and to promote the economic development.
