摘要
Algorithmic management (AM) has become a vital aspect of organizational and people management across industries. However, organizational research about AM and its impact is still at an infancy stage. Existing studies tend to result in potential biases when estimating their effects and miss important implications. Drawing on the relevant literature, this introductory piece to this collection presents a brief review of the emerging literature on the employee responses towards AM, especially investigating its impact on employee innovative behaviour. It also shows how the contributions included respond to the literature and how they add to our understanding of the implications of AM for organizations and employees. Finally, we propose an agenda for future research to further investigate the impact of AM on employee behaviour.
