Microstructure, texture and magnetic properties of Si-Sb ultra-low carbon electrical steels, hot-rolled at temperatures below AC1 and subjected to annealing before to cold rolling

摘要
In this work, ultra-low carbon Si-Sb steels were hot-rolled (HR) at 800 degrees C and subjected to annealing before cold rolling (ABCR) at 880 degrees C for different times (30-180 min). Samples processed after 180 min were then subjected to cold rolling (CR) (0.25 mm thickness) and final annealing (FA) at 850 degrees C for 60 min. Magnetic properties were evaluated in cold rolled, and final annealed samples, at 0 degrees, 45 degrees and 90 degrees with respect to the rolling direction. In general, annealing modifies the microstructure and texture of the hot-rolled material, leading to an improvement in the magnetic behavior of final products.
