摘要
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is widely recognized as a promising catalyst for the degradation of emerging pollutants in AOPs due to its abundant active sites and suitable bandgap. However, the practical application of MoS2 is limited by factors such as small interlayer spacing, easy agglomeration in water, and low stability. Accordingly, modification of MoS2 is one of the effective strategies to enhance its catalytic efficiency. In this review, we systematically describe the recent advancements in MoS2-based materials for the degradation of various emerging organic pollutants in AOPs, including activated oxidants (H2O2/PMS/PDS), Fenton-like reactions, photocatalysis, and piezoelectric catalysis. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of the modification to improve the catalytic performance of MoS2. Additionally, the stability and regeneration methods of MoS2 catalysts are reviewed. Finally, the major challenges and future research directions for the application of MoS2 catalysts in AOPs are highlighted.
