摘要
Through-wall imaging radar (TWIR) plays an important role in detecting concealed targets. In particular, distributed TWIR can achieve a wider detection area than a single TWIR, and thus has attracted significant attention. Currently, distributed TWIR detection requires precise prior knowledge of wall parameters, which limits its practical application. In this article, we consider the problem of target localization and wall parameters estimation simultaneously. Specifically, the compensation for the effect of the walls are performed based on the consistency of target position. Then, the target localization results from distributed TWIR are fused. To estimate the parameters of the walls, the relationships of multipaths, target and walls are exploited and combined with the estimation results of compensation values. Finally, the performance of the proposed method is validated through both simulations and experimental measurements.
