摘要：

We here describe Phyllobius occultatus Germann, Wartmann & Winkelmann, a new species close to Phyllobius brenskei Schilsky, 1911 from Peloponnese, and Ph. nigrofasciatus Pesarini, 1975 from Turkey. A confusion of specimens attributed erroneously to Ph. brenskei led to the unawareness of the new species which had been photographed and known since its inclusion in the catalogue of Greek weevils.
