摘要
Resilience as a personal and organizational resource helps employees cope with work stress and improve performance. Applying job demands - resources theory with a sample of 112 hospitality management faculty in India, this study explored the relationship between resilience and faculty performance and the effects of work engagement and affective commitment in the resilience-performance relationship. The results showed that resilience positively affects faculty performance and leads to stronger affective commitment and work engagement. Both work engagement and affective commitment demonstrated positive mediating effects on the resilience-performance relationship. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed for resilience development for faculty well-being and performance.
