摘要
Future sixth generation (6G) communication networks will involve expanding operations to the higher end of frequency spectrum in order to accommodate the wide range of applications and technologies envisioned. millimeter wave (mmWave) and terahertz (THz) systems are good candidates for supporting the unprecedented data rates and bandwidths that are necessary for the development of the upcoming 6G networks, all while having the advantage of being inherently relatively secure to potential physical layer threats due to the propagation channel characteristics at these frequencies. However, jamming and eavesdropping attacks on mmWave and THz systems still pose significant threats to their security. In this paper, we provide an overview of the problem of jamming within the context of mmWave and THz communication, exploring and reviewing works that investigate jamming attacks and mitigation techniques.
