摘要
. In a study on the information repertoire of people with disabilities in Germany, 617 people were asked which media they use to obtain information on topics relevant to them. The aim is to investigate participation in public communication and to find out which factors influence the size and diversity of the information repertoire of people with disabilities. The core of the study was a cluster analysis, which identified typical information repertoires. The clusters were compared in their composition according to social and impairment-related characteristics, barriers in the media and the importance of information needs. As a result, six typical information repertoires were formed, which differ significantly in size and composition. From the clusters, constellations of contextual factors can be derived which particularly hinder or facilitate equal participation in public communication. Four particularly disadvantaged constellations were identified.
