摘要
A plant extract was used as the reducing and capping agent for the green production of zinc oxide nanoparticles. Various techniques, including XRD, SEM, EDX, FT-IR, TGA/DTA, UV-Vis, and TEM, were used for characterization of the materials. These materials exhibited efficient catalysis for the alkylation of acetophenone with benzyl alcohol. The leaf extract of Citrus sinensis was used as a reducing and capping agent for green ZnO NPs synthesis, characterized using XRD, SEM, FT-IR, TGA/DTA, UV-Vis, and TEM techniques. These materials efficiently catalyzed the alkylation of acetophenone.
