摘要
The fast-growing electric vehicles market has accentuated the demand for lithium-ion batteries, of which one of the key components is electrodes. The characterisation of electrode properties can enable higher quality design of batteries. To achieve more efficient and effective sample characterisation, a new terahertz time-domain processing approach is presented using electrodes of different microstructures and packing densities. For samples with convoluted terahertz waveforms, the method used to extract peak amplitude for a specific step in the presented approach can be optimised for better waveform reconstruction and material information retention.
