摘要
This study assesses the dietary diversity (DD) of 600 undergraduates at the University of Peradeniya, along with their nutritional status and food insecurity, using the dietary diversity questionnaire developed by the FAO/Nutrition and Consumer Protection Division. The mean DD score was 7.07 +/- 1.71, with 83.8% of participants having high DD, 15% medium DD, and 1.2% low DD. The covariate-adjusted linear regression model revealed that, irrespective of students' age, gender, and family income, factors such as the faculty of study, monthly expenditure on food, and total food security score were significantly associated with dietary diversity.
