摘要
Originally, feedback control in power conversion systems was performed analogically. However, in the last decades more and more digital control solutions were proposed in order to overcome limitations and issues of analog control, specifically in terms of costs, integrability, reprogrammability and noise robustness. In particular, high resolution hybrid digital control architectures have been recently proposed, which allow to overcome the frequency limitations of basic digital control schemes. These modern control loops can be quite complex and a long time could be required to simulate them at transistor level. The aim of this paper is to propose a Matlab behavioural model of an hybrid digital control loop for DC-DC converter, which allows to study the overall closed-loop system with fast simulations and a high level of flexibility. In this way, the designer can rapidly evaluate closed-loop stability as well as the impact of Process, Voltage and Temperature variations (PVT) on the control loop.
