摘要:
This paper draws upon social information processing model to examine how organizational culture and leadership, as two major informational sources, jointly influence employees' perceived error tolerance and job satisfaction. We adopted both the field (Study 1) and experimental (Study 2) design. Both studies revealed that employees' perception of error tolerance is a function of both error-related organizational culture and leadership style, with the most salient perception occurring when both transformational leadership and error management culture were present. Additionally, perceived error tolerance was found to mediate the moderating effect of leadership style and error-related organizational culture on employees' job satisfaction.
