摘要
In the contemporary world, ensuring food safety has emerged as a critical concern. The conventional approach to food production lacks an efficient system for tracing the origin of produce across the supply chain. Consequently, in the event of a foodborne outbreak, the process of navigating through production data becomes arduous, hindering the tracking of both the affected produce and the outbreak's source. Nonetheless, the existing methodologies overlooked the need for verifiable food production data. The advent of blockchain-based solutions in recent times has effectively tackled this key challenge. So, we introduced a novel proposition: a secure blockchain-based framework designed to digitally capture food production information. The prime objective is to provide consumers and producers with easy accessibility, traceability and verification of this data. The proposed model created using Python programming language. Our study aimed to enhance the transparency in supply of food by using efficient and secure algorithms. We have achieved this by incorporating practical and convenient means of facilitating these processes. Moreover, an empirical evaluation of the proposed framework was also conducted to substantiate its effectiveness.
