The evolution of the communication process over the centuries highlights humanity's need to live in society. Legal language is complex due to its technical-legal application, the use of jargon, and expressions in Latin. In this context, this research aims to present Visual law and analyze its impact on legal communication processes in Brazil. To this end, it discusses legal communication, its elements, the democratization of information, and Visual law. The methodology adopts an integrative literature review, qualitative research, and exploratory and documentary research. The conclusion is that Visual law, in the context of legal communication, can be used as a tool to provide clarity and objectivity in legal communication for the entire society, contributing to the democratization of information. Studies in the field of Information Science that involve communication processes beyond legal communication are important.
