摘要
The challenge of alleviating the crisis of water scarcity is a severe issue that the world faces together, and it has obtained increasing attention from researchers in recent years. Inspired by cactus and spider silk, this work designs a multi-dimensional bionic water harvesting featuring a crisscross-shaped spindle and spine structure. After hydrophobic treatment of the surface, both the fog condensation efficiency and droplet departure efficiency are effectively improved. The water harvesting rate of the system can reach approximately 1758.5 mg/cm2/h, representing about 1406 % increase compared to the initial spindle column structure. The findings of this work provide feasible reference ideas for the design of efficient water harvesting systems, with promising applications in seawater desalination, heat management, and atmosphere water collection.
