摘要
Human beings, who have used their brain power to meet their needs since ancient times, have started to produce with the help of machines and changing and developing technologies. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of these technological developments and many fields have been integrated. This study is addressed specifically in the discipline of interior design and aims to make some evaluations on the role of AI in interior design education. The phenomenology approach, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The impact values of the AI tools used and the concrete outputs obtained with these tools within the scope of a course conducted in the interior design department of a state university and given in the spring semester of 2022-2023 will be revealed through the experiences of the students who took the course and voluntarily participated in the research. To determine these impact values, a survey was prepared online and presented to the students This study was intended to contribute to the literature in the field by determining the success/ benefit status of AI tools and the obtained course outcomes in the process, with the findings obtained as a result of the feedback received from the survey.
