摘要：

In 1951-52, the Brazilian sociologist Gilberto Freyre traveled through "Portuguese lands" between Europe, Africa and Asia. The trip was translated into several writings, addressing a set of problems arising from the observation of the routes created by the movement of people and goods through vast territories between Africa and the East, which landed on the coasts of Portuguese America. During the trip, he looked for Orientalist influences incorporated by the Portuguese and integrated into Brazilian culture.
