摘要
This study examines the impact of 5Mg(OH)2<middle dot>MgSO4<middle dot>7H2O basic magnesium sulfate whiskers (abbreviated 517-type BMSWs) on the properties of Na2SO4 activated slag (SSAS) with varying activities of MgO modification by incorporating them into MgO-modified SSAS prepared by calcining at 500 degrees C and 700 degrees C, respectively. The investigation is based on the strength effect of magnesium whiskers on cementitious materials. In order to provide theoretical underpinnings and technological support, the effect of 517-type BMSWs on the properties of Na2SO4 activated slag (SSAS) modified with different activated MgO was investigated through the use ofphysical phase analysis, pore structure, compressive and flexural strength tests, and so on. These methods were employed by doping 0 wt. %, 0.5 wt. %, 1 %, 2 wt. %, 3 wt. %, 4 wt. %, and 5 wt. % of 517-type BMSWs.
