摘要
We review the effects of crosstalk and other channel-to-channel optical interference in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing systems. We show that this interference is a major phenomenon in such systems designed for full capacity and discuss device, circuit and architecture-level methods for mitigating its effects.
