摘要
We explore how children's media can be integrated into family literacy practices to encourage critical thinking about race and gender portrayals in animated videos. Data were collected over three months from various sources, including observations, interviews, and children's work. The study's findings suggest an expanded perspective on family literacy in the dual language context, serving as a platform for young bilingual children and parents to critically examine media content from diverse perspectives.
