摘要
The study investigates the quality of life, loneliness, and social interactions of older people before and after moving to a senior village using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire and specific questions on loneliness, social relations and social participation. Baseline included 64 older people aged 61-90 years, while follow-up included 34 older adults aged 62-89 years. The study analyzed differences in QoL between baseline and follow-up using Paired-samples t-test, and loneliness and social interactions using McNemar test. Result showed that physical health, psychological, and environment QoL scores increased, while the social relationships score declined after moving. However, additional information showed increased frequency of social interactions and a decrease in loneliness.
