"Entre Cartas...": an approach to writing and reading in digital times

摘要
This article is part of resulting actions extension project's developed by public federal school, together with public school of external community. The activities were executed during and after the pandemic, in in the possibilities of adaptations for teaching in remote and hybrid format, with main objectives was to increase the writing and reading fluency of young high school students. From theoretical references in Andrade (2010), Barton e Lee (2015), Coscarelli (2016), Tolentino (2018), Compagnon (2019), Pereira (2021) and Garcia Rodrigues (2024), the methodological strategy was by means of bibliographic review and exploratory research in order to observe and analyze as the practice of writing, combined with the study of the letter genre, can enable the text producer greater interaction and construction of meaning. As a result, was observed that, in digital times and in the fluidity of information, correspondence appeared as a powerful mediating instrument for reading training, writing practice and expanding students' literacy.
