Aloe vera gel is a popular cosmetic product, laxative, and herbal medicine with antipsoriatic and therapeutic properties and antimicrobial activities. Aloe vera gel has been detected for its antipsoriatic potential, physical parameters, phytochemicals, and biological activities against multiple microbial pathogens. HaCaT cells treated with 100 mu g/mL demonstrated the greatest psoriatic cell inhibition (71.55%), followed by those treated with 50 mu g/mL (69.05%). The results for the physical parameters were conductivity (2220 mu), viscosity (4500 cps), extrudability (82.33%), yield (15.22%), specific gravity (1.06 g/cm2), and partial size (62.17 micron). The color index was recorded (33.52, 7.88, and 35.78) for L*, a*, and b*, respectively. The results indicate that mannose and glucose were the main sugar components (85.98% and 13.55%, respectively). The most abundant flavonoid was kaempferol (6770 mg/kg), followed by myricetin (12.10 mg/kg), and quercetin (4.22 mg/kg). Aloe vera gel extract at a concentration of 500 mu g/ mL showed the maximum scavenging ability 90.83%, followed by 84.19%, 84.08%, and 84.01% for the other concentrations 20 mu g/mL, 100 mu g/mL, and 1000 mu g/mL, respectively, UsingAleo vera gel detected higher values than the commercial inulin oligofructan, which recorded a 2.44, 2.58, and 2.99 fold increase and 0.88, 0.78, and 0.77 fold increase for L. plantarum, L. fermentum, and L. casei, respectively. Aloe vera gel at a concentration of 100 mu g/mL had a 20.25 mm diameter zone of inhibition against Escherichia coli, followed by 22.47 and 23.58 mm zones of inhibition against Salmonella typhi and Staphylococcus aureus, respectively. Further investigation is required to fully understand the adaptability of Aloe vera extracts, which hold promise for pharmacological and nutrition-related applications.
