Dust-acoustic solitons in self-gravitating magnetized dusty plasmas

摘要
A four-component self-gravitating magnetized plasma (comprised of inertial positively and negatively charged dust, and non-inertial electrons and ions following Maxwellian distribution) is considered to study the linear and nonlinear wave properties in such plasmas associated with dust-acoustic waves. The Korteweg-de Vries (K-dV) equation (via reductive perturbation approach) is derived, and the solution of the K-dV equation is used to examine the basic properties (e.g., amplitude, width, and polarity) of finite but small-amplitude dust-acoustic solitary waves in the considered plasmas. It is seen that the plasma model considered here supports both polarity solitary structures. It is observed that not only the basic properties but also the existence regimes of the solitary structures are modified significantly due to the presence of external magnetic field and self-gravitational effects.
