摘要
In the Psychology of Advertising and Marketing course, a voluntary activity was designed in social networks so that students could share information and reflections on course content. The aim was to test whether the use of social networks had an impact on learning. Of the 36 people enrolled in the course, 16 (44.6%) participated in the experience. The quantitative measures used were the scores obtained in activities that worked on different cognitive skills. Student's t-comparison analyses were carried out between participants and non-participants. The results showed that participants in the experience achieved better results in activities that worked on complex cognitive skills, but there were no statistically significant differences in cognitively simpler activities. It is concluded that promoting activities based on students' interests has a positive impact on metacognitive knowledge.
